Mindy Abshier

Mindy Abshier is a Realtor, real estate investor, landlord, negotiator, and team trainer who co-leads The Will Johnson Team alongside her husband, Will Johnson.

Long before earning her real estate license in 2019, Mindy was quietly building wealth through disciplined saving and real estate investing. She lived on roughly 30 percent of what she earned, invested the rest, and built a rental portfolio by purchasing duplexes, renovating them while living in them, and repeating the process. By about age forty, she had become a self-made real estate millionaire, although even much of her own family did not realize it at the time.

Today, Mindy brings that same discipline and practical experience to every client she serves. She works with buyers, sellers, landowners, and investors throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee, offering advice grounded in decisions she has made with her own money. She is also an invited member of eXp Realty's invitation-only mastermind for leading land sellers and personally trains every new agent who joins The Will Johnson Team.

Known for combining sharp analysis with genuine empathy, Mindy has a rare ability to understand both the numbers and the people involved in a transaction. She is a firm negotiator, a patient advisor, and someone who is willing to tell clients the truth, even when it is not the easiest answer to hear.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Mindy holds a degree in international business and has lived in Los Angeles, New York, India, and London. Her broad experience, steady optimism, and investor mindset help clients make smarter, more confident real estate decisions.

Outside of real estate, Mindy is known for quietly helping others, often keeping homemade cookies and small goodie bags in her car to give to people in need. It reflects the same quality clients experience when working with her: she pays attention, she cares deeply, and she does the real work without needing the recognition.
