Phillips Builders is a Nashville-based, family-owned homebuilder founded in 1952 by Randall Phillips Sr., and its tagline says it plainly: 'Building Homes in Nashville Since 1952.' Over seven-plus decades it has built across the metro — the company notes it constructed some of the first condominiums and planned communities in the Nashville area. Today it is an independently owned, family-operated Nashville homebuilder, led by the family's later generations (the company describes its current builders as the 'fifth generation'): Jason Phillips serves as President with more than 35 years in homebuilding, Taylor Phillips as VP of Construction, and Laine Phillips as VP of Operations. For an out-of-state buyer, the takeaway is that the people standing behind the warranty and the workmanship are based here in Nashville, not in a distant corporate division.

Phillips builds across greater Nashville and the surrounding counties — Sumner, Wilson, and Davidson. Laurel Park published four plans — the Crosby, Fleetwood, McCartney, and Whitney — across two lot products, and the community is now built out and trading primarily on the resale market.
