Gallatin sits along the northern reach of Old Hickory Lake, so lake access is part of the broader Sumner County picture even though this is not a lakefront community. If proximity to the water matters to you, that's worth mapping against your actual commute rather than assuming — Gallatin is a real drive from the busier south-county job centers.
