Other active on-campus work includes The CORD at the Historic Powerhouse — an approximately 17,000-square-foot renovation and three-story addition with a performance venue for up to 150 people and a digital media lab, made possible by a $10 million lead gift from trustee Cordia Harrington plus an additional $3.5 million gift from Andrea Waitt Carlton and the AWC Family Foundation. The project formally broke ground on April 24, 2026 and is slated for completion in 2027 — and a renovation of the Harrington Place dining hall.
