Storied Development and Wheelock Street Capital acquired the land and broke ground in December 2024, and the community is planned for 407 single-family homesites built around two Andrew Green-designed golf courses. Firefly is actively selling: Phase 1 sold 80-plus homesites in 45 days, and Phase 2 launched in May 2026. Golf and the first amenities are slated to open in Fall 2026, with home construction beginning Spring 2027.

This is a custom-home community rather than a production subdivision. Buyers purchase a homesite and build with one of eight approved builder partners, so Firefly tends to draw people who want a fully custom home inside a resort-style, gated golf setting. Homesites are anticipated to price from $575,000 to $1,675,000-plus, with completed homes anticipated from $2.9 million. Homes at Firefly are custom-built, single-family residences. Because this is a homesite-and-builder model, there is no fixed catalog of stock floor plans for the community as a whole — instead, you choose a builder partner and design a home with them on your selected homesite. Specific bedroom, bathroom, and square-footage ranges have not been publicly specified for the community, and lot configurations are custom rather than a published standard size.

For floor-plan ideas and design direction, the most current information comes straight from each builder partner's official plan and portfolio pages. Rather than relying on third-party listings, we point you to the builders' own materials and tour their work with you, so you are comparing real plans and finishes instead of secondhand summaries. As homesites are platted and builders begin construction in Spring 2027, we can keep you updated on what is buildable on each available lot.

Amenities & community life

Firefly is organized around a championship golf experience and a deep set of club amenities. The centerpiece is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect Andrew Green, complemented by a 9-hole short course. Day to day, residents have access to a full-service clubhouse with private dining, a Family Club featuring bowling, pools, and a STEAM learning center, and a Racquet Club with indoor and outdoor pickleball and tennis.

Beyond golf and racquet sports, the amenity package includes a fitness center, adult and family pools, golf simulators, and walking paths throughout the gated community. The combination of golf, racquet, family, and wellness facilities is designed to support an all-day, resort-style lifestyle inside a private, gated setting. The community is zoned for Maury County Public Schools. The zoned schools are:
