Shelton Square is a 240+ acre master-planned community in the Blackman area of Murfreesboro, in Rutherford County. The land was farmed for years by the Shelton family before they partnered with Parks 360 Development, LLC to plan the neighborhood you see today. At full build-out it is planned for 770+ homes, with construction running from 2024 forward, so most of what is selling now is brand-new single-family product. As of June 2026 it is actively selling, with 35+ homes on the market across its various builder sections.

Homes at Shelton Square are single-family and organized into four series, which is the easiest way to understand the range:

• Sanctuary — mid-range single-family plans
• Estate — the larger plans, scaling well above 4,000 sq ft
• Cottage — a smaller-footprint series arriving in 2026

Across the series, homes generally run from about 1,800 sq ft up to 5,200+ sq ft, with 3 to 6 bedrooms, on lots roughly 0.17 to 0.48 acres. Pricing starts around $450K and climbs from there on the larger Estate plans; we confirm current pricing for each builder and plan directly. Notable features vary by builder and series but include 3-car garage plans, open-concept layouts, modern farmhouse and contemporary exteriors, gas fireplaces, coffered and accented ceilings, and hardwood flooring on select plans.

Shelton Square is built around a resort-style amenity package shared by the whole community. The centerpiece is a full-service clubhouse with a catering kitchen and fitness center, paired with a resort-style pool and a separate children's pool. Outdoor amenities include a playground, a dog park, a basketball court, walking trails, an event lawn, and greenway access, all woven together with green spaces and pocket parks.

Shelton Square sits on Shelton Boulevard on the Blackman side of Murfreesboro, about 1.5 miles from I-840 with direct access to I-24. That positioning makes it one of the easier Murfreesboro communities for commuting toward Nashville (roughly 30 minutes via the interstates) or south and east across Middle Tennessee. You are close to Blackman-area shopping, dining, and services, with downtown Murfreesboro a short drive away. Internal streets include Shelton Boulevard, Pointer Place, Eaglemont Drive, Bridgemore Boulevard, and Willoughby Way.
